Different garden jobs use different charging arrangements. Routine gardening is charged by time; pressure washing is priced by area, and tree work and landscaping need their own assessment. Use the guide below to prepare an enquiry, then confirm the scope and final quote before booking.
Garden maintenance, lawn care and clearance
The published rate is £79 for the first hour, which is the minimum booking charge, and £65 for each subsequent hour. The bill reflects the actual time spent on site. These gardening rates cover a team of two with tools and equipment, plus disposal of up to 120 litres of green waste. Discuss larger volumes before work starts.
Choose garden maintenance for ongoing mowing, weeding, hedge trimming and border care. The lawn care service focuses on grass and edges; an overgrown space may need garden clearance before regular upkeep becomes practical. A low hourly rate does not establish how many hours a neglected garden will need.
Photographs of the whole garden help establish the work. Explain gates, steps, access through the house, parking and any plants or features that must stay. Agree the priority tasks if the appointment has a limited budget. Wet, frozen or unsuitable conditions may require some work to be postponed or changed.
Jet washing
